Kris Jenner, matriarch of Kardashian-Jenner clan, has definitely capitalized on her time in the spotlight. The 59-year-old mother of six is a business woman, manager, author, and television personality, while also being featured on E! Network’s popular reality television show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Jenner is also in charge of the Los Angeles based management company, Jenner Communications, which is responsible for managing her daughters’ careers. Last year, the FOX network offered Jenner her own talk show, Kris, which premiered in July 2013. The show featured a plethora of celebrity co-hosts including Mario Lopez, Joey Lawrence, and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Jenner’s son-in-law, hip hop superstar, Kanye West, even used the show as a platform to reveal the first images of he and Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North.
While FOX initially hoped that Jenner’s reality TV celebrity status would equal high rating for her show, Kris, was cancelled at the end of its sex week trial. On January 17, FOX issued a statement saying: “Kris’ will not be on the schedule for the 2014 syndication season. However, the possibility for the talk show, or an additional project for Kris Jenner, for the 2015 season is being discussed and highly considered.” However, sources close to Jenner have reportedly announced that “Kris has been told her talk show is not going to happen. Viewers just tuned out and genuinely don’t want to see her on daytime television, in any format.” Frank Cicha, President of programming for FOX, added that the show flopped because Jenner was “pretty uninteresting,” and that “she looked not just like a deer in the headlights, but like a deer that already got hit.” Cicha also added that the network even received hate mail from some markets because of the show.
While the show’s abysmal ratings may have been the cause of the show’s cancellation, those who worked closely with Jenner during Kris’ run said that the momager was more like a monster. A member of Kris‘ production team reportedly told US Magazine that “Working with Kris was absolutely unbearable” and that the team ” could not wait for the end of the show’s six-week trial period.” The source also shared that Jenner often showed up the set hung over and demanded that her makeup team work tirelessly to make her look flawless.
Although these accusations may be true, and Jenner certainly wasn’t the world’s greatest talk show host, Kris did have some noteworthy moments that really highlighted the show’s potential. Here are the best moments from Kris Jenner’s talk show.

What could possibly be better than a circus that doesn’t involve poorly treated animals? Although the setting was a little atypical, this pair of circus stars performed an amazing routine which received a great round of applause from Jenner, co-host Joey Lawrence, and the rest of the audience.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is usually one of the brightest stars in any room he enters. Hip hop’s original Bad Boy has been a presence in the industry since the early 90s and is often credited with discovering hip hop legend, Notorious B.I.G. On this show, he is joined by Jenner’s most famous child, Kim Kardashian, who made her first appearance on Kris in this episode. However, this time, Diddy and Kim aren’t the main attractions. CeCe Hendricks, founder of Spoiled Fashionz, “an online high-end consignment shop for children,” stole the show when her young models strutted their stuff down the runway wearing designer clothes. Hendricks’ shop also won major points when she announced that 10% of the shop’s net profits are donated to The Jenesee Center, a domestic violence intervention program whose mission is to “provide victims of domestic violence with a comprehensive, centralized base of support to assist them in addressing their immediate crisis and changing the patterns of their lives.”

Scott Disick long time boyfriend of Jenner’s daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, has not always had such a fun relationship with Jenner. During Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Scott’s relationship with Kourtney and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner is chronicled and he is often depicted as annoying and insensitive. However, during an interview with Oprah, Jenner shared that, over time, she sincerely grew to love Scott, and she referred to him as “an amazing young man” and “the best dad.” During this clip from Kris, Jenner and Scott share a few jokes while playing a friendly game of “Fact or Fiction.”

What good is having a mother with her own talk show if you can’t use it for a little shameless self promotion? Jenner’s youngest daughters, Kendall and Kylie, did just that when they debuted the fall line for their joint clothing company, Kendall and Kylie. The little Jenners have certainly been following in their mothers footsteps and have embarked on several other business ventures, including event hosting. In the summer of 2014 Kendall and Kylie hosted the Much Music Video Awards. The sisters also released a science fiction novel, Rebels: City of Indra, which is the story of “two girls, two worlds apart,” and according to Kylie, “the fans seem to love it.”

Rap star Kanye West visited Jenner’s show to share highly anticipated photos of he and Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North. During the show, West discussed the joys of father hood and his appreciation for his relationship with Kim. In 2007, after the sudden death of his mother, West admitted that he put his “life at risk” and didn’t “have something to live for.” However, he insists that father hood changed him for the better and he now has only one goal: to protect his daughter. West also shared that having Kim in his life “brought new joy to the world.” When Jenner asked West was his first impressions of Kim were he said, “”I was so in awe of her, she was my dream girl. I was in love with her before I could ever talk to her…I just dreamed about being next to her.” West’s appearance Kris was the show’s highest rated episode, but unfortunately even the unstoppable Mr. West wasn’t enough to save the show.
